A Path Forward Is Within Reach

Those of us who have survived the death of a husband know that you can walk through it in one of two ways. You can try to handle it all on your own, and possibly feel overwhelmed, stuck, and desperate to escape the pain and challenges you are faced with. Or you can create a web of support, hopefully with someone who’s been through it and knows the territory.   Because when you walk through a major loss with the right support, the process can be easier and you can even grow from your experience.

Hi, I’m Mary Kay.

I’m here to support you as you grieve and adapt your life after experiencing a significant loss. I do this important work because I’ve been through several major losses in my life - most significantly the loss of my husband at age 48 from brain cancer.

From my personal experiences and my training as a Certified Grief Educator, I’ve developed a system that can help you navigate your life after loss.

I get it - when you've lost your beloved it affects everything in your life, mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. You have to deal with the pain of missing the person who knew you best while also changing your whole way of life.

I'll meet you where you are and walk with you through this difficult experience. In your own timing, we will take some steps forward.

Trying to live while grieving a loved one is not an easy feat. Mary Kay normalized the challenges of living with grief and shared ways to navigate through daily routines successfully despite the pain. Mary Kay's kind and patient demeanor gave me a safe place to open up and truly begin to heal.
